Tom Seals has performed in over 100 countries including performances at venues such as Dubai Opera House, Birdland on Broadway in New York City and the most famous jazz club in the world; Ronnie Scott’s. His festival appearances include Glastonbury, North Sea Jazz, Montreux Jazz Festival, Cheltenham Jazz, Cropredy, Sicily Jazz, Steinway Two Pianos, Polish Boogie and alongside CC Smugglers supporting Pink Floyd to 70,000 people in London’s Hyde Park.

 

He has performed alongside Gregory Porter, Jamie Cullum, Dame Cleo Laine and Hugh Laurie, as well as getting called up to “represent the nation” by the UK Government and Department of International Trade at Expo 2020 in Dubai, where he performed solo in the Al Wasl Dome to 10,000 people with Prince William present in the audience, segueing seamlessly into being the only ‘civilian’ to have performed with The Band of The Coldstream Guards.


Tom regularly performs a duelling pianos show alongside Jools Holland. 

 

In the 2020 lockdown, Tom formed a pilot of a TV show format which launched online. Quickly accumulating over a quarter of a million viewers, with celebrity guests including Matt Lucas and KT Tunstall, it soon got picked up by Sky TV.

 

“Tom Seals Presents” aired on Sky TV, where each week Tom would chat to a celebrity guest about their favourite songs, which he and his incredible band perform live with their unique jazz/blues spin. Guests on the Sky show included Anton Du Beke, David Coulthard, Ruby Turner, Russell Watson, Toyah Willcox, Tom Grennan, Sir Kenny Dalglish, Stephen K Amos, Diane Abbott, Tom Allen and Kaiser Chiefs’ Ricky Wilson.

 

Tom has now started a live on-stage version of this show, recent guests include Noddy Holder, Whispering Bob Harris, James Acaster, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Robert Lindsay, Chris McCausland, Jo Brand, Russell Watson, Mark Pougatch, Chris Difford and Sir Richard Branson. 

 

Joining his hero Billy Joel, Whoopi Goldberg, Sting, Elvis Costello, President Bill Clinton, Kurt Elling, Diana Krall and Wynton Marsalis, Tom was delighted to a part of the "Save Birdland: A Celebration of Music, History, and Community" fundraising show.

 

His voice can be heard in many stores worldwide, with Tom’s recordings being played daily. In stores ranging from Caffè Nero, Tesco, Home Bargains, Frankie & Benny’s, Waterstones to Harrods! Tom recently recorded ‘I Don’t Wanna Grow Up’ as the new voice for a ‘comeback’ campaign for Toy’s ‘R’ Us.

 

Tom is a proud endorsee of Yamaha Pianos and Korg keyboards.
