Aidan Davis
It was only after watching George Sampson win Britain’s Got Talent in 2008, that young Aidan Davis decided to take up dancing. Practising alone in his bedroom, he secretly decided to enter Britain’s Got Talent without telling his parents. Aidan was a very fast learner!
During his first audition, where he danced to the tune of ‘Low’ by Flo Rida, Aidan’s fancy footwork, together with his self-taught choreography skills wowed the judges and he received a standing ovation from the watching audience. All the hard work paid off and Aidan received four yes votes from the panel, with Simon Cowell describing him as “super, super, super talented”. Aidan won his semi-final convincingly with a jaw dropping new routine and sailed into the final. Not bad for a kid who had only been dancing a year!
Since the show he quickly made the transition to become an international performer more than capable of standing (and spinning!) on his own two feet. He has performed all over the UK, and became the face of a massive new TV advertising campaign for Cheeto’s crisps in Turkey.
Aidan was asked to be part of Diversity’s national ‘Diversitoys’ tour in Easter 2010, playing to over 60,000 fans at 27 theatres around the country. Aidan was so popular that the group again requested his presence on their nationwide Christmas arena tour.
After being offered the role of Billy Elliot in London’s West End, Aidan decided to take a presenting role on a new CBBC show called “Friday Download” along side Dionne Bromfield and 3 other top talented teens. The show has been a massive success, outdone it’s T4 competitors and is said to be nominated for a Children’s BAFTA’s.
Aidan has over 600,000 fans on Facebook and even has his own merchandise range! As a black belt karate student, and an extremely talented guitarist, the future is certainly looking bright.
